I like to spend between .03 and .05 on each coupon, but will spend up to .10 a coupon for the realllllly good ones. Say I do spend .10 for a coupon that saves me 1.50. That's a savings of 1.40! That included shipping and when I added up all the coupon face values, my savings (if I use them all) will be over $130. My first goal is to match coupons w/ current promotions or deals in store ads or clearance aisles, so if I can do that, my savings will shoot up MUCH higher than face value! My fav. stores in my area are Albertsons and Walgreens so I go to those sites and find the WEEKLY ADS link the day the new ad is out...or late the night before. Typically grocery store ads change every Wednesday and Drugstores ads change on Sundays.</span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">I</span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">f you visit HCW often, you'll eventually find the section of the forum where stores are all discussed alphabetically. There are some ladies on that site that get copies of the ads for some stores WEEKS ahead of time and it helps my strategy to be able to see what is coming up. I might think something is a TERRIFIC deal this week, but after scanning upcoming ads, I see that the next weeks deal is even better!
